The Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Guyana (FITUG) was indeed most saddened to learn of His Excellency President David Granger’s recent medical diagnosis. Indeed,we cannot help but be concerned by the health and well-being of our country’s President and thus we were most heartened to learn from the Government that President Granger is expected to make a full recovery.
We are aware that Cuban health care system has been rated among the best in the world. And, on that score, we have no doubt that the President will receive the best possible care as he seeks to overcome his present ailment.
At this time, the FITUG joins with all Guyanese in wishing the President a speedy recovery.
