The Berbice Bridge GAWU Branch Conference was held on August 10, 2017. The Conference reviewed the work of the Branch since the last Conference in 2016 and elected a new Branch Committee. The Conference was attended by GAWU President, Komal Chand who reminded the workers that several challenges and goals still lay ahead of them and the need for a strong organisation at the Berbice Bridge.
