In this segment, the panelists reflect on plans by the sugar company to once more engage in the production of non-sugar crops. The failed past experiences is recalled which led to its ultimate abandonment. The panelists who were associated with the industry in those times recall the significant waste of resources both financial and human. They urge that such crops can be grown on the vast expanses of abandoned land in the country.
